A BIG thanks goes out to IncursionX22 for taking up this "simple" kitbash initially and to Atheorhaven lending a hand as well as for bringing her home.

As you can see there is a slight mesh issue with the back of the "new" warp engines but as the Imperium/Stock RBC rarely raises it's wings in game [SFC:OP] it's hardly noticable.

I'll need to make  a new readme file for this shortly but I'll hold off in case Atheorhaven or anybody else wants to make a final revision of this kitbash.

Maybe this kitbash will inspire a mod god to grant us a new version of the STOCK RBC ;)

In the meantime, it's so nice to see a decent non-Federation kitbash like this for a change. Thanks again guys. ;D

If they can be d/l'ed outside a mod and you have a d/l link to them both.. (or are they the ones that KF pointed to earlier?) then I can add those at the same time as I fix the engine.  It takes me little time to add in or remove illumination maps (as long as it's not 24+ materials in the mesh, then it takes longer)..

Wasn't that done already for the Goshawk aka Legion Refit I retextured?

As for the current manifestation of the Imperium, I just noticed some missing polygons on the left rear INSIDE engines. I was hoping Atheorhaven will give it another quick look before the final release.

Also QobnuH has yet to respond to my request to use his RBC Imperium texture set on this Imperium kitbash, Trust me they will be better than the current set. ;)

Finally, on a historical note, this Romulan was one of the first Romulans I retextured with Atrahasis' D2 RBB textures before Ganymad came on the scene and Wowed us with his rendition of Thulls' Firehawk texture set. I would love to see what Ganymad could do for this ship but alas he has not been around for awhile.

Hang in there Romulan fans I will have this out as soon as I can.

The engines kind of hang in a small amount of empty space now between the hull and where they ended up but again in game you don't really notice. I think you did a fine job getting this kitbash to where it is now. I have no complaints.

There did have to be a small amount of space there simply because I didn't want to take the chance of having poly clashes.. I could've added in support pylons, but those would've had to have been fabricated from scratch.  Should be good to go now..

Klingon Fanatic.  I was on your web page and I saw some cool retextures.  Any chance of you releasing your Ulysses and Lyran shuttle retextures.  They look really cool.


LOL, the Ulysses is WZ45's with retextures I use are Ganymad's texture set with Moonraker's Ulysses Warp engine glows added to them.

QobnuH indicated to me that he will most likey retexture the Imperium with his texture set and he might add support struts to the warp engines. Now if he does this the readme file is going to get a bit bigger, LOL.

Sorry about you not getting the pics KF,hopefully you can view them from here. I re-mapped the model similar to the regalhawk that I did.
I added engine struts on all nacelles. I don't know if this is what was intended,I am still very much a noob at this. I have had problems with power outs and intermittent internet access the past few days due to storms. All I have is milkshape ,so no break mod. I do not have a proper readme to go with this,so I would like one if you have it. I also need to have the original readme from the winged defender and the bright one (I think the were in the D2 pack) if anyone has them. If no objections from the original modeler,I will try to release them too.

It would help to get the readme files on the rbc,winged defender, and bright one(not whitewind). The killerhawk and the regalhawk(stock engines) will be in the same file. The original break mods do work but of course revert to the original model.
As you said, I think the other roms  I kitbashed are P81's from the D2 pack...Do you think this will be a problem?
