We discussed this b4, DH and I think we agreed it is a double edged sword. Yeah it's nice to have a dominating ship or two that can win a hex, but at the same time you have blown a serious anount of pp AND you are putting all your eggs in one basket.

Now, I still think there should be a one BB limit. 2x BB's on could mean 5-6 BB's fielded. That's insane. But I'm open to RM input here. I will allow 2x BB's built per side although I dont like that idea, but strenuously suggest a 1/1/1 BB limit on the map at any one time even if we allow 2x BB's built per side...

Is the price enough encourage people not to build more than one?

1 B10K = 4 C7. 
1 B11k = 6 C7

If 2 BBs are allowed to be built, then 2 BBs should be allowed to fly at the same time. If only 1 BB is allowed to fly, then the player with the second BB logs in to the server and is told he isnt allowed to play. This hapenned on the last server with DNs. If that player wants to fly, he then has to sell his ship, then buy it back it later, in the meantime waiting for a new ship. A playter who only has maybe an hour or so to log in and play has just lost a significant percentage of his playing time.

Basically its just a hassle having to do this and for no good reason. If only 1 BB is allowed to fly at any given time, then only 1 BB should be allowed to be built.

Debatable issue. Forcing one faction to pick one race and one player... suks. Having 2x BB's on at once suks.

I dont really care one way or the other. DH is right. Read his post above. If players are foolish enough to buy 2x BB's then they can fly 2 for all I care. Consider that my opinion on the matter. Also consider that I support the 4/4/3 DN cap. And now we have 3x faction leaders that need to vote on it.

Btw, Tracey, with multiple accounts, you dont really have to sell anything. ;)

I prefer only one per side.

If you have two with one docked, then you can quickly get the second out on the field should you lose the first.  If someone puts in all the work required to kill one of these things in a D2 environment,  they should be assured that their enemy must spend some time without a BB.
