Pay no attention to the red paint though. That's just a shader that I applied for the Pic. She'll be textured in a more traditional style. The shape has been refined a bit more since that shot. I've begun texturing her. So, I should have her ready soon.

MP, your lit Oberth comes out looking jet-black in the mod viewer. The unlit version is barely viewable at all. I would assume it looks the same in game.

MP specifically requested a ship not a fighter. The poly count is 4k. I've included the specs for the "Deltan Hustler" from SFB as suggested specs for arming it as a cruiser. There are 2 different size .mod files so you can either have it canon size (compared to the stock SFC ftrs. it's 1.5 times the size of the stock Fed ftr.) or scaled to 250 meters to use it as a cruiser. SFC1 or 2 versions, for you dinosaurs.

The original mesh ended up at about 7k polies after it was booleaned, etc. This model is less detailed, but will run much more smoothly.
These are pics done without the high end rendering features turned on. The pic at Battleclinic has everything turned on (reflections, environment, etc...), but I wanted it to look more like it will ingame.. Too bad we can't get a modern game engine for SFC.
