Dark Empire Mod Releases here -- Romulans them Damn Romulans 2/17/08

In the next few weeks i am going to release our unfinished Dark Empire Mod ships here.

Our mod consisted of about 350 ships most not modeled at the time for sfc but the lack of texture skills the mod was dropped.

:: note the ships textures lack detail and are unfinished, there also may be some mapping issues ::
Your welcome to finish the textures and release the ships but please add your name in the readmes/what you did and keep them with the ships. It would be nice to see them posted here for release but thats up to you just keep the credits where due.

For some reason I really don't like the odd squared lines all over the frederickstan hull. The other two I like alot though. :D Good work! Keep it up man!

this thread is a goldmine for retexturers, these models are cool, i like the hydran, its about time someone did more of them. the Lyrans are cool aswell.

There are some great ships here!

It's nice to see someone adding to the lesser races like the Lyrans & Hydrans - they often get overlooked.

Thank you for your feedbacks, but I do have a request.  If whomever wishes to re-texture my models, please make versions for all the Starfleet Command Versions. Don't forget to give credit  were credit is due...... and if all goes well more ships will be coming this way.

Sure go ahead but its not my concept though most of these feds and klinks are fasa or similar variants. There should be a 2d pic of the original ship i tryed to make with each ship. If not i need to get them pics in there so texture pros know what to texture.

Unknown warriors Lyran and Pirates are scaled to and use the stock ship hardpoints for those classes. We never did get the time to accurately place the hardpoints to the weapon spots, but I'm sure someone has the time for that if the ships are wanted that badly.
As for My stuff posted so far i don't remember what has been scaled and hardpointed .
  Any future ship by Unknown warrior will be sfcop ready - possable mesh errors or textures unfinished. as for my unfinished textured ships if i can get the time ill make them good.  Ill make sure that my "finished ships" are atleast points added and scaled.
I wish i had the time and texture skill to finish them all :-[ it would have been a good mod.

I like the Menahga/Mitannic. One of my favorite designs from Ships of the Star Fleet. I don't know if I've ever seen them modelled before, glad to see someone's tackled 'em. ;)

Nope that fleet was going to be our Korgoth slot.  The drell was i guess early Tmp? not sure on era
