SFC1 - Updated Models Project

If you check my Dropbox you now find some Sfc1 models

Projects/Starfleet Command 1 HQ Folder

just 2 so far but there will be more

all ships will use same hp and weapon points from the stock models so there are the same

got Starfleet command 1 to run on windows 10 today :)  I`m busy replacing the stock models with higher poly models a lot will come from The Legacy Project
it be all Tmp era as the game was or as near as I can get it

starting with the Federation

if you wondering how to get sfc1 to install and run
I got it from gog.com then it installed fine and had to make some small changes to the sfc.ini
My setting are

all working great so far incase anyone having problems running on windows 10

Just finished this one up to replace the Stock FF ship used the Aragorn class made a few changes and a small texture update
rescaled and added the hp`s and weapons points of the FF

Amazing work DD!

SFC1 will always be special to me. It is too bad SFC1 missions haven't been converted to SFC2/OP.

Kitbashed this for the replacement of the Fbch will do Sfc1 and sfc2 versions


if I rember right you only replace models in SFC1 so no new class`s but they are lots of sub class`s to fill so should be few new kitbashs on the way :)

fms which I replace it with the fft from sfc2 is released as well for SFC1

that's all the federation stock ships replaced :) the sub class`s will come later
tried too install shipedit2 for sfc1 but it wont install on windows 10 :( looks like good old notepad editing

Started the Klingons today now the D7 and bird are prey are easy to replace some of the other stock models are going to be a nightmare
so today I stated to total redo the Kcl class this is a full Retexture and remapping of the stock model none of the stock textures are left total new textures :)


still a lot left to do but its coming along nice

You know, the KCL is probably the only ship in the Klingon Empire who hasn't gotten nice new skin around here. A shame bc I like it. But always neglected. FOAS and WZ45 and countless others have retextured the BOP, D7, C7, etc etc but not this baby. I will on the list of many things attempt to real in this bad boy. Eventually ::)


I know of at least five KCL retextures. IIRC there was one WWI Red Baron style retexture done by somebody around the time SFC: EAW came out. I mean it was all Red with Iron Crosses IIRC. No idea who did that or where that is as I didn't get it.

I did a plain gray TOS retexture, a revised TMP retexture a late TMP retexture and a TMP Romulan retexture. Perhaps Bernard G or Fallen_Warrior has them in his archive. I don't have them any where.







Then there was TooMuchCofee's KCL kitbash...

I think I will do a kitbash using wz45 textures. Make it more in line with the D7/C7 lineage.

Yeah, a MODERN retexture is in order.

After you finish the space backgrounds...right? LOL.

It's spring break. I work at the airport. They have us coming in at 0300 hrs so the annoying brats can go to cancun, key west and everywhere else. Smh.
I'm so exhausted. I'm ready for my days off coming up.

I`ll be replaceing my Kdd with This D3 model don't want other bird of prey type ship for the slot
so done a retexture to a nice Klingon green from the black/grey colours it had if you like a sfc 2 version let us know
I`ll have to do a few new lightmaps for it

Very good looking overall.

Yesterday i got a copy of SFC1 (gold version).
It runs perfectly at Win10.
The IA looks more agressive and stronger!?
I imagine how many people still play SFC1...

SFC1 is always on my desktop...  :)
Though my SFC1 is modded with minimal changes, it's one of my good old memories and I don't like changing it too much.

KtHyla Klingon Academy conversion Romulan Mobile dock. I have an unlit copy in my Dropbox box check my TMP model request thread for the link. I don't have a working laptop at the moment...

The above Klingon mobile dock looks like something from the Klingon underworld....

Keep up the great work guys! Always nice to see Klingon ships.

its Tmp era well ment too be lets call it late tmp - early tng :P

wanted the ship part too be like a tug ship and the Pods I modelled myself and textured
could do different type of pods they easy to make pods :)

its still not done got more to add too it yet and few texture tweaks

I find myself always downloading your last works to not miss anything..  :)
When i looked at it my imagination liftoff.
And i started to imaging how would feel to land that ship on a station or planet for example.
And i found one thing that would cause me problems.
Because it is such a big ship... Wouldn't it feel better for a captain to have the bridge on the back, like it happens in a naval ship?
That way a person could see the entire structure when looking at the window. Feels more intuitive in my mind.

But don't take it too serious, it is just my imagination working...  ;)

the tug will release from the pods then Klingon worker bee ships will push the pods into the space station or land them on a planet :P

All of the new ship models show up completely white and un-texured when in-game. Also, my "Above8BitTextures" file has the following inside of it:

I only tested FFF-SFC1 version, it works fine in SFC1. What game and model version are you using?

Above8bitTextures are not errors, nor do it cause any problem. I think Taldren just want to reduce textures size so the game data can be smaller. Though we don't know how to disable the logging.

I check all models in Sfc1 gold version not sure why your ships are turning up white ingame normaly that's the textures are missing
make sure all the model files and texture files are in the same folder

Could it be that windows itself is blocking the texture files, so they aren't loaded?
Right-click on a texture file, and check their properties, to see if all are ok.

How do you get a KLINGON ship name out of (RFA) Romulan Freighter?

No, I do not like the Fek'lhr any more than the Klingon Bird of Prey and variants.
