I am just going to do a few I can do HPs and Dps for them and fix up the textures for them to be more towards that later era of TMP. It is more of Time available that I have to do this then the amount of work it actually is. One set of HPs and Dps will cover allot of ships, and then only a few sections will need them to cover the rest. So don't worry i am sure some one will finish the ones I don't, and the textures should work for the others as I will make them more generic. Registries will only be for the saucers and I can always do more like I did for the registry packs I made at TCS, then only have to be cut and pasted in to make it work.

So the only part I hate about Registries is not doing them it is looking for the Name and numbers to make them.

Okay folks...I have burned the entire collection uncompressed onto two cd's and am in the process of zipping the individual ships into seperate archives...If anybody wants to host the individual zip or rar files let me know. The process should be completed by the end of the week and the whole kit and kaboodle will then be burned to cd for safe keeping.

So are there any major criticisms about the models themselves...ie: the design?

Made this one today

Its a Commendant2V refiited to serve as a Generational Ship...

The Carrier Bays in the saucer have been converted to recreation facilities.

Two pods have been added to the lower hull, these contain living areas in the Upper Front 1/4, Resource production (Farms - as you can tell with the windows - machine shops, even a small factory) in the Upper Aft 1/4, and then storage and misc in the Lower Half.

Two Runabout Pads have been added to above where the carrier bays have been...These use Flyer-Class Gunboats or Danube class Runabouts.

Now this is what Voyager should have been!

What do you think?

Showing off the "Farms"

There is no actual indent on the pod where the farm is, the effect was achieved using textures - a well placed shadow, i think.
But its not perfect...a little help would be nice.

Here is a link to your Caliburn Registry for the saucer

 Download

Give me a bit and I will look around for what I got for farm texture.

Your Welcome

Now about that sacure window...

I would take this texture and apply your shaded winow over it at probably 35% transpereance (more or less depending on the look) and then apply a new layer over that to darken the winow boarders and cross peices.

do you want this one?

the other is more of an idea still.

Because you are on a top surface you will want to make a window for the top area and then make it appear that you are looking down through it at the farm/park below. Not an easy task but should be doable. you will have to be careful on the side framing to make it appear from side that you are looking at the opposite edge.
