Any chance I can get my hands on an SFC3 version of this ship?  Please?

Try SFC2. ;)

I remember this from a while back, it was a nice model and still is, albeit textures could use a little more work. ;) But it's all good.  By the way... Could someone tell me what weapons it has, what century it is from, where's whatever crucial part of the ship, etc...?  I'm awfully curious considering the design of the ship...

Man, that is one scary looking design.  Imagine if you are an unsuspecting adversary "hunting" Starfleet warships... and you bump into this guy!

Wow!  Definitly one of the more unique designs I have ever seen on this board.  And actually, this might be a very logical assumption of a later Enterprise.  Even the TNG Tech manual contemplated that the next Enterprise might not follow the standard Doctrine of Primary/Secondary hull structure.

One question though... where is the bridge?   :P

Azel..  nice touch bud.  Kinda reminds me of the P-38 concept on a starship scale.  "Officer thinking sir !" ...  (this is my first time to this design of yours.  that's what happens when you are the late commer such as I am.)

Excellent concept !!

Thanks mates sor the support  of the design!!!
I appreciate it greatly :)

The ship is a tad shorter than the excelsior-class and wider than the Galaxy
She is a deep space explorer and I guess would be classified as XSCS(if there could such a thing)

Before you posted that, Atolm, I would have instinctively said, "BB".

I have to honest I don't like this for the Enterprise as the Enterprise has always been a one saucered ship.I like it that way this might be good for some deep space exploration ship though.

LOL  !!!
She has that effect when first seeing her...lol
but, if you look at the windows real carefully the windows give it away...lol

Also the Bridge is in the left saucer, an auxillary is in the right one...or vice versa...

Well, in many respects the TNG and DS9 tech manuals are worthy of being totally ignored, but as far as starship design goes, there is where I would tend to listen to them, because the guys who wrote it are guys who have designed more than a few starships...  ;)

Guys, I don't stop by very often but this is one of the best forward looking models I have ever seen. BB is not a big enough word for it.  :o

It almost cries for a new class of ship to be established.

Great work!

But what happens when the ship looses its saucer in the design process of future ships....(Wells & Sabre-Classes come to mind)...Also, It how would the future of starship design move foward if its constantly held back by classic ideas...sometimes you need a swift in the @$$ in order make the leap foward.

One thing that the Enterprise has always stood for is innovation...And I hope that this design has brought that to the table... :)

Thanks all!!!

Why NCC-1701-I ?

Considering that the Germans during WW2 did this a lot..
Why not NCC-1701-Z
for Zwilliig (Twin in German)
