Nah... on both Buzz and Az's drawings they were grey extruded hull bitty things... I suppose I could make them blue and cage them up or somthing  ???

If I get enough requests and buzz and azz give the thumbs up I have no probs in changing it..  ;D

Actually the "glows" were on the top and bottom of the nacelles ..  Azel came up with the idea of it being on the bottom only and the nacelles swiveling into a protected position during a combat situation .. ( one which I approved ) ..

The extruded area on the outside trailing edge of the nacelles ..  hmmm   let me see if I can explain it ..

ya know the nacelle caps off of the TOS  Enterprise ...  well  that is kinda what those are ...  long and narrow and yes wrapping around the corner the way the are ..  ( I hope you guys don't dissaprove of that too much ....  but that was what I had in mind any ways)

Please note :   .....    bad habit of Ol Buzzard .....  little nostalgia in just about everything I do ....  some where !!  ( sorry ...  old habits die hard !)

What you have done so far is really classy bud ..   this is very nice..

just one change ...  I noticed you called this the USS Buzzard???

OY ..  for such a classic piece of work that you have done such a great job  on ...   rename the ship !!  I'll entertain suggestions ..  but DEFINITELY NOT "Buz" ...  "Buzaard" ..  ( ecch !!)

Please continue with you work !!  Looks great as I've said all along ..  I'm flatter that you considered and have now nearly COMPLETED the job...

thanks

I quite like Buzzard... think its cool..... ???

But I dont mind a name change.... but remember their will be 3 sets of textures each with a different name... the darker set will also replace the cream shade with a dark red... the blue with a dark gray and the overall ship will be a darker shade.. that will be the u.s.s. wulf  ;D

Hmm This is only my opinion and I wont get upset (much, well maybe Ill cry a little bit but I'll get over it eventually) if you dont dig it, but I would find a more noble name than Buzzard, thats a carrion-scavenger bird. This model is more worthy I think.

Why not Falcon, its has'nt been used (much), the model looks much more like a perigrin falcon diving on its prey than some dumd ol buzzard circling around some roadkill lol. Peregrin Falcon is also fastest animal on earth, certianly suitable for this big engined machine.

Good against the Romulans.

Just an opinion from lil ol schtupp

Hey Yeah I'll second that one USS  Falcon or USS Pereguine far better suiting names. IIRC there's a TMP perguine out there, perhaps this could be it's replacement in the TNG era. This ships definately a predator, not a scavanger.

My thoughts exactly ...

Dunno about a bird ....  smacks of Romulan designs too much.  But I defiantly like the idea of a predator derivative, variant or root.

USS Raptor (as in Velociraptor, means (speedy) Thief)
USS Kakuru (means Rainbow serpent)
