The geometry looks wonderful from these angles, Adonis. Can't wait to have her ingame Also good to see that you have the prototype detailing down. Accuracy was a concern of mine

Looks real good, man. Nice to see her "white" as opposed to the dingy gray that's typically used for Fed models.

While I do like the ST6 version better overall (because of the minor details that differ from the first version and the drastically-changed interiors), I really like your take on the first Excelsior (of the three you're doing so far). I'm most caught by the first of the two WIP pics on June 19. If altered only very slightly, it looks very sleek and even more futuristic... And for some reason, I'm reminded of the Nintendo Wii. I guess it's because of how clean the WIP looks, especially under a white background.

adonis will hand the model over to either me or Models please and its up to us to port it, but with the poly count that these are, its doubtful without doing some poly reduction. but we shall see

I hopped over to WickedZombie's forums a while ago and noticed he saw the little stint that took place.... http://wickedzombie45.proboards46.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1184047901Basically what he said was that the texture size, not the polygon count, which causes lag in computers. So I'd assume that no trimming of the poly count is necessary. As long as the textures are ginormous, it should still be a beautiful ship to play. 'Sides, as WZ says... Adonis created the model. It's his choice weather or not to bow to certain restrictions that others think are necessary.

About the lakota...that remains to be seen. I really cannot give an estimate.
