I am in shock. I've lurked these forums probably once a year since I was 12 waiting for this, I can't imagine how much effort went into this, with the (I'm assuming) limited budget that you had.

I ABSOLUTELY can not wait to get my hands on it.. It might be available now, I just had to post immediately!

LOL, I'm older than you at 32 and played this WAYYYY back in the day when I was in my early 20s!

I even remember Frey from way back in the day when I used to run with SFCShadow, Crim, etc :p

Very true. For me personally, I'll be stepping back in after a hiatus. I pretty much stopped playing way back in '03-'04. Stumbled back to this site at least a few times since that time...

Whenever I think of this game, it always brings back fond memories. It's time to make new ones with this new... 'update'?

So, I will be (im)patiently waiting for the release! haha.

I've been checking daily since I found out about the project and its impending release. Haven't played this game since it was new back when games were sold in boxes.

hmmm i just bought sfc2 from the dynaverse shop but im having trouble installing it (is it windows 7 proof ? ) setup won t launch , it piles up in my procces screen

Man, I can't imagine the wait for people who've known about this all 8 years until now. I was lucky in that I've stumbled into this place only twice or so over the past 8 years and thus was kinda ignorant of SF:CE.

I guess a lot of us are so trained in that once we here 'It has gone gold!" we think of major developers and how those particular games tend to release a couple weeks later, and not like here wher eit's been almost 4 months since Gold was announced and nothing. I guess you have to keep in mind this is just a bunch of volunteers (?) working on really old code.

But still, damn... hearing it's gone gold and 4 months and still nothing? That carrot is one evil sonofabitch :p

I'm also curious what the hold up is. Bugs? Stability? Real Life issues? I know Frey had some personal stuff going on that obviously takes precedence. I hope he's okay.
