There it is.  I was wondering when you would do that.  Looks like a post-TNG Galaxy-class refit.  It is so awsome, I don't know what to say.

Ok , now were talking.  This looks to be my favorite version yet as it stays truer to TNG. To be honest I don't like the ones that 'push the envelope'  because if the envelope keeps getting pushed. The designs have to keep getting more extreme until your in the 35th century. All that is cool I guess, its just that I like to play just 1 era, Not fond of blending in designs that span centuries as I think ship hulls would be out dated real fast. They only stick around in ST for ever to keep costs down.

Great Work WZ. I believe this nails the Titan concept perfectly.

Excellent work WZ ..   The detail you have on the mesh should make for an over all superior final product with the textures when she's done.

Superb !!

Think I am with SF2 on this one.

Very good blend of a Sov and a Galaxy as well. Can't wait to see what she will look like all detailed out.

A much-better bland of the Sovereign and Galaxy-class Starships.  Good work, WZ.

In my opinion, this could've been as good a Sovereign-class as the current one can be, if not better than.

Awesome. Maybe if they'd used that ship in TNG they wouldn't have been outgunned that often. I mean, ok you don't want to use force, but getting outgunned as in the Galaxy was in TNG ridiculus(sp)

Sorry for the off-topic Rant just needed to get that out of my system.

Could we get to see its side and top views? I'd love to see if the saucer is as wide as the galaxies. Seems not to be, which is a good thing imho, but just to be sure ;)

Anyways, like i said before, Awsome work WZ

Yes, this is the new Titan. Everyone seemed to be under the assumption that the old one was, in fact, mine when all I did was texture Atolm's. Since it was pulled from the site months ago, I figured there wasn't any reason to let the design fade off and I haven't tampered much with the TNG era anyway. I tried to keep the basic elements of Atolm's version while still adding my own style to the design. At first I didn't want to start up another WIP thread since Buzz/Sandman had their's going, but I think the two ships are different enough to stay separate.

Actually, the saucer is rounded like the original. I tried to keep some ties to the last three Enterprises, which includes the traditionally style saucer of the Ambassador, the general shape and engines of the Galaxy, and the bridge and detailing of the Sovereign.

I can scarcely believe someone's managed to take the awkwardness of the Galaxy and mould it into something so exquisite.  This is probably the most beautiful TNG era Fed I've seen.

Daihak, I seriously doubt there'll be any need for anyone to tinker with her when she's released.  ;D

Will there be an AGT styled one with 3 nacelles? (I know how much u think 3 nacelles are cool WZ lol) I'd atleast like to see that galaxy stardrive ridge down the dorsal spine of the stern with a turret on the end (like with the nemisis sov upgrades)

B&B are two people.  It stands for "Berman and Braga", infamous for extreme Trek discontinuity and making Trek boring and so cliche'd with the technology-of-the-day writing.  At least in my opinion.  But we're digressing from the topic.  Let's stay on the topic of WZ's ship for now.

If you're not being sarcastic: Berman and Braga, former evil overlords of ruining Trek. Braga was only a good writer with someone looking over his shoulder - his TNG stuff that he cowrote with others was good but since then. ::)

Berman really needs no introduction does he? Thank whoever that he's at least not writing for the show anymore.

Looks awesome WZ, I agree with the sentiments here, it's a beautiful ship crafted out of the awkward ugliness of the Galaxy.

The top saucer texture is pretty much buttoned up, save for a few minor details. This gave me the opportunity to try out a new escape pod font that I've been developing.

An 'X' version would probably be unfeasible since the third nacelle and pylon would undoubtedly block out the shuttle bays.

Perhaps, on an X version, the only shuttlebay is in the saucer, and the third narcelle was placed further back on the secondary hull. The X varient would be deemed more battle oriented and thus wouldn't require many shuttlebays, due the the fact that most of the ship is designated for larger engiines, a second warp core and munition storage Would that fix it ?

I'm sure the shuttle pilots really enjoy having a big important nacelle to avoid when they leave and arrive on the ship each time. Even if I kept the nacelle low (makes the bussard kinda useless, doesn't it?), the top shuttle bay would still cut it close when launching shuttles.

Somehow, I doubt the Galaxy-X creators were too concerned with design aesthetics and common sense when they made that thing.

What about the Nebula-class, WZ?  Aside from the Phoenix and Melbourne variants, I'm sure it's the case for many shuttlecraft pilots operating on Nebula-class Starships, having to avoid the pylon supporting the triangular-shaped pod every time.

Actually Chris on the Nebula ( and her 3 varients) I have seen the shuttlebay placed into the weapon pod support structure so it wouldn't interfere with any but the saucer bay. Perhaps that's another solution. No saucer bay, and make the third narcelle support wide enough to house shuttlebays ?

...or simply not bother with a "Titan-X" at all? Really, all it would end up being is the Titan with a third nacelle and pylon welded onto it. The other fanboyish elements of the Galaxy-X wouldn't have a place on this design if for no other reason than having to rework parts of the ship to accommodate the new ones. I *might* release a conversion kit later on, which has custom engineered parts for a Titan-X version for kitbashers to use. As far as me making one directly though, I don't have any plans for it.

The saucer shuttle bay on the Nebula and the aft saucer phasers were probably intended for a non-pod version of the ship or some other configuration that doesn't have those parts obstructed. The supposed shuttle bay in the aft pod pylon would most likely be used when the normal pod is installed.

Ok... ouch my stomach It's time to stop joking. Chris is telling the truth  above ;D

But as for WZ's work it is awesome. As I said... no disrespect but full respect. There are really few designs that kicks ass. Most of them are yours WZ. This one keeps my mouth open in a strange grimace of amusement and I can't speak thus words cannot express how I like this ship from a pic :)

Great work and keep going  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: (but please don't call this ship another Titan - there are lots of Titans and she is to beautyfull ship to be under command of William T Riker)

If he releases blanks, you can substitute the Titan name.  Besides, this ship had already been named the Titan when it was using Atolm's model when WZ retextured it.  Consider this a design upgrade from that Titan model.

...or simply not bother with a "Titan-X" at all?

I was thinking perhaps instead of that supercannon, something more like the twin blasters on the Ronin? They could be shoved under the leading edge of the saucer, or eveb above the deflector. Plus you wouldn't want something that looks like a replica of the agt ent-d anyways. In either event this ship has plenty of potential.

Well, like your quote of WZ, Starforce, there's little originality in adding a third nacelle, giving it a big gun or two and calling it the "Whatever-X".  It's also fanboy-ish a design as WZ said it is.  Just be glad he's thinking about the possibility of a "conversion kit".

The entire top half of the saucer is finished, including a redone set of escape pods. The lower half of the hull is also completed along with a few other details.

yea I wasn't saying it wasn't fanboyish. Just like with the quote...might not be very original but it can still work..I just quoted that cuz it gave me a laugh.

I like the fact that this is more or less a Galaxy Class, with Sovereign elements. Best Titan mesh i've seen yet.

Wow! That is one of the most beautiful models i have ever seen. Can't wait for this one. Btw WZ are you planning on doing a Galaxy-class at any point? If this is anything to go by it would be top notch.

I wasn't referring to that old scrap heap. Since then I've made a far superior one that is among the long list of ships that hasn't been finished.
